Easy Holiday Appetizer—Everything Bagel Seasoning Cheese Ball

My obsession with Everything Bagel Seasoning has yet to subside.  It’s one of those ingredients that adds so much flavor with little effort.  During the holiday season quick and easy appetizers make everyone jolly–and I hope this cheese ball does just that.

Confession–I’ve never made a cheese ball.  But we loved it–ate all of it.  I can’t think of an easier thing to bring to a potluck or set out at your party.  Plop it down with some Prosecco or crisp white wine and you’re in business.

Ingredients

Scale 1x2x3x

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1 Tbls. whole grain mustard

1 cup finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese

3 scallions chopped

6 slices bacon cooked and chopped

1/4 cup Everything But the Bagel seasoning blend (Trader Joe’s)

Bagel chips and/or crackers for serving

Instructions

In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, mustard, cheddar cheese, scallions, and bacon. Form the mixture into a ball, wrap with plastic wrap, and chill for an hour.

Once the cheeseball has set, roll it into the Everything But the Bagel seasoning blend to evenly coat.

Serve with bagel chips and crackers.
