- 2 pints strawberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups of dry red wine
- 1
tsp . vanilla
Instructions
- Hull the strawberries by taking a knife and cutting a circle around the stem of the strawberry. Slice some of the larger berries in half but leave most of the berries whole.
- Place strawberries in a large bowl and sprinkle with the sugar. Next add the wine and vanilla. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or up to 24 hours.
- Spoon into dessert bowls and serve.
